HPPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026: 369 Posts Apply

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced a new job vacancy for 369 Assistant Professor (College Cadre), Group-A Job Trainee posts in the Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh. HPPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026 is a subject-wise recruitment drive for teaching positions in government colleges under the Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Department.

The duration of Paper-I is one hour.

Paper-I marks are not added directly to the final selection score. However, performance in Paper-I is used to determine which candidates’ Paper-II answer sheets will be evaluated.

Paper-I is used for screening and shortlisting. It is not added to the 150-mark final score.

After Paper-I, the provisional answer key will be made available through the candidate’s examination account or the HPPSC website, depending on whether the test is conducted online or offline.
