Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for the Hospitality Monitor positions in the IRCTC Recruitment are as follows:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess one of the following full-time qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration
  • BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts
  • B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science
  • MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management
  • Only freshers with relevant qualifications are eligible to apply.

Age Limit:

  • The upper age limit for UR candidates is 27 years as on 21st January 2026.
  • Age relaxation is provided as per government norms:
    • 5 years for SC/ST candidates
    • 3 years for OBC candidates
    • 10 years for PwBD candidates
    • Relaxation for Ex-servicemen up to the length of service in the defense forces plus 3 years.

Salary and Allowances

The selected candidates in the IRCTC Recruitment will receive the following remuneration and benefits:

Selection Process

The selection process for this IRCTC Recruitment will be done through a walk-in interview. Here’s how the process works:

  • Application Submission: Candidates must fill out the prescribed application form (available with the notification) and submit it at the interview venue.
  • Document Verification: Candidates should bring original documents and one set of attested photocopies, including their educational qualifications, date of birth, and category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen).

General Information

  • Contractual Engagement: This engagement is purely contractual with an initial contract period of 2 years, extendable based on performance.

  • Security Deposit: A Rs. 25,000 security deposit is required for selected candidates in the form of a Demand Draft payable to IRCTC Ltd.
  • Medical Fitness: Engagement is subject to medical fitness as prescribed by IRCTC.
  • Panel Formation: Along with the selected candidates, a 100% Reserve Panel will be formed for future requirements.
